The PP3 installation is suspended in the central atrium of DZ Bank's headquarters in Berlin, beside the Brandenburg Gates. The installation, comprising 34 glass panels, responds to the dynamic architecture of Frank Gehry's iconic horse's head-shaped Conference Hall immediately in front of and above it at the center of the public atrium.

Nikolas Weinstein, in consultation with Arup Engineering and scientists at Corning Glass, develops a unique matrix of fused glass tubes for the installation. This innovative cellular structure is both strong and light, addressing safety and weight concerns associated with large scale suspended glass installations.
